ECBSM2016, the second edition of the European Conference on Biodeterioration of Stone Monuments, will take place at The “Institut d’Etudes Avancées“ Université de Cergy-Pontoise, Cergy-Pontoise France, November 17-18 2016.
ECBSM2016 is co-organized by The University of Cergy-Pontoise and the University of Milan.
The meeting is organized to provide an overview of the hot topics related to monument colonisation and biodeterioration by microorganisms.
ECBSM2016 is an opportunity to bring together academic and industrial experts working on biodeterioration of historical monuments.
The presentations will cover the following topics:
• Biofilm formation on monuments• Biodeterioration and climate change• Innovative cleaning techniques• Nanocoatings for preserving surfaces of monuments
