Obiettivi formativi
The aim of the course is to provide a background on the relation between the environmental conditions (thermo hygrometric and luminous) and the conservation of work of arts, documents and, in general, objects. A focus will be devoted to make the students aware of the importance of the conservation conditions and to provide them with the capabilities of:
- developing analysis of the physical phenomena related to the thermal environment and lighting,
- developing measurement campaigns aimed at assessing the main physical quantities able to characterize the lighting and the thermo hygrometric environment, understanding the basis of the techniques needed to modify and control the thermal, hygric and luminous environments.- Oggetto:
Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Ability to evaluate and judge the quality of the indoor climate condition for the preventive conservation (both in terms of thermo hygrometric and lighting conditions). Ability and knowledge about the possible measures to control the indoor climate conditions.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Esame Scritto/Orale.
The exam is organised as a written test aimed at verifying:
- The acquired knowledges in relation to the main quantities and principles of the micro-environment physics, with a specific emphasis on the preventive conservation,
- The acquired knowledges about the subjects introduced and discussed during the lectures and practical lectures,
- The capacities of the students to apply the theoretical principles to practical cases by means of numerical exercises/tests.The written test is divided in 2 parts:
- The first part deals with the theory and consists of some open questions (that require synthetic answers)(During this part no texts, books, notes, ...can be used by the Candidates),
- The second part consists of some numerical exercises that simulates practical cases (During this part the Candidates can use texts, books, notes, ...).
When needed, the written test can be integrated by some oral questions aimed at eventually clarifying the answers provided in the written test.- Oggetto:
